If you expect to self publish, do a complete start, and compete in bookstores, yes, it’s a long and arduous procedure. Do not try and compete in bookstores without first studying Dan Poynter’s “The Self Publishing Manual.”
Take such as Joseph Finder, author of the best selling corporate espionage book, Paranoia. He had had moderate success with his previous well-written CIA suspense novels, but did not hit it big until he inadvertently created an entirely new genre using Paranoia. In his words, “All I was doing was attempting something new – a thriller with a fresh setting, a new cast of characters.”
After your book is complete, you want to edit it. This will demand a lot of attention and time so you will need to have patience. Do not rush it, since you really do want your book to be perfect and the results do pay off in the long run!
Let’s say you want to understand how to self-publish a book, and you want to do it in the cheapest and best way possible. Is this contradictory?
To write a book in 20 days, you’ll want your book to be no larger than 200 pages. This means you will need to write 10 pages, or a chapter, a day. Not so hard.
Now, simply because you can get your book published doesn’t mean it’s going to be simple. My first book took almost two years to finish because I believed that the book gets published soon after it’s written. It turns out that writing it had been the easy part. I did this in a couple of months. In regards to editing and approving the edit, then re-edits and re-approving repeatedly, the cover and back cover design, the forward, and of course, my own evaluation all added to the time it took to get it published.
You ought to have a plan which includes daily goals along with a deadline to your own content. Try to get a flexible deadline and avoid hurrying, usually it’s better to take as much time as you want. Diligence is compulsory for a writer, therefore try to avoid distractions. Instead, make your own writing schedule. Focus on writing a chapter at a time and then continue based on this. It is going to certainly be a good deal of fun to receive feedback from others too, since the more feedback you get the better the work will probably be in the end. Compelling stuff, we think – what are your thoughts? There is a great deal in the body of information surrounding a fantastic read. It is really similar to other related issues that are important to people.
You never really know about any one element because there are a lot of varied situations. So what we suggest is to really try to discover what you need, and that will usually be decided by your circumstances. You have a sound base of a few essential points, and we will make that much stronger for you as follows.
Each chapter can be separated to 10 to 15 points which you want to pay for your own reader. Just take each subtopic and rephrase it as a question. Now, simply answer the question in conversational style. Answer the question like you were speaking or writing to a buddy. Give yourself an hour per day and you’re going to have your book done quickly before or on your 20 day deadline.
Additionally, you should not concentrate on errors, all you have to do is to let your creativity flow, the editing part should start when your content is prepared. Look for any plot holes and be certain that your content flows correctly all so that you can create good content. You should have multiple drafts, since it is rather tough to find the job done right from the start.
You don’t need to be in bookstores anymore when you can sell your book on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, flip it into a Kindle or Nook book and even an audio book which can be sold on Audible and iTunes. I’m sure I am leaving a lot of businesses and stage choices out because the simple truth is that there are so many of them and the market is evolving as you read this. The fact is, your book can reach the entire world the instant it’s published and just about anyone can write a book. I will pay that in next month’s article.
James Altucher is a powerful hedge fund manager who has founded or co-founded a number of companies; Altucher has also published five books on financing with traditional publishing houses. More recently, he’s published three new books with Amazon. Altucher’s bold announcement in a 2008 blog seems to be proving itself since we see the wars between Amazon and the largely New York based literary agents.

You’re about to join the ranks of Mark Twain, James Joyce, Edgar Allen Poe, Richard Nixon, and a Lot More esteemed writers.
